six flags & birthday cake

i went to six flags with some friends and i swear the majority of it was IN LINE. fun none the less. also, jess made me a sorta kinda chantilly cake...was "mops" 'cuz! oh btw, girl can bake...check out the green one...oh my goooodnesss.

Easter BBQ in Costa Mesa

so, the day before easter i was fortunate to hang with my maui homie Kyle Spencer and his friends and family! it was so nice to see them..i felt like i was in maui for just a little while! from portuguese horse-shoes, ping pong, watermelon baskets to just having a jam session with the green brothers...the day was most memorable.

some pics of my room that's fully furnished by IKEA!  people in hawaii would have a blast there!  they actually have a cafe and sell food in a furniture place?!? who would of thought? believe me, i could have been in that place all day. anyway, jess makes the best salads, food, deserts...basically everything! we just made a red velvet cake..me likey! 

Sunday @ Tommy's

i went to a church with tyler and his bandmate phil called "REALITY" where most of the congregation was young hipsters. it was kinda wierd at first, but i decided to try and focus on more important things. for the most part i enjoyed the worship and message, the pastor was this young dude with tats which i thought was pretty cool. he was really down to earth, but at the same time passionate about what he was preaching. after church was over there was always the infamous decision on where to eat. of course this process can take hours amidst the small talk and chit chat. we finally agreed upon the famous "ORIGINAL TOMMY'S CHILI HAMBURGER" joint. i wasn't feeling the added grease of chili to my already greazy hamburger, so i declined on chili.

pxsx- i heard that britney spears went to REALITY the following week..true story.

"Cali or bust"

so i'm here now in the sunshine state.  i've been here since march 3 and so far it's been bittersweet.  on the good side, i get to go to a lot of cool places that aren't in hawaii like target, chevy's, ikea, chipotle, in n' out burger, the list goes on.  being here means that things are a lot more exclusive and for now that's been rad.  on the other hand, i miss everyone in hawaii and just hawaii in general.  i'm sure i get over it eventually, but to you all who are reading this (you know who you are)...i miss you.

my flight was interesting to say the least.  i had a micronesian kid with strong legs behind my seat and a older lady who was a bit comfortable with leaning her chair back in front of me.  none the less, i get to L.A. and Tyler C. Burns picks me up in his sahweet family van..haha.  the next day i get to the penners house in sunland.  Kev and Jess are in a band called chandelle and Kev has a studio called green bean recording that i'm gonna apprentice under.  i'm excited and can't wait to get things goin'!

oh yeah, i got all my stuff for my room from IKEA!!! I love that place!
