from Leihulu to Langmuir...

i've been here for almost 3 months now...but i still miss home.

home is...
landon playing
hearing granny's walker
mom snoring w/mouth wide open
papa yawning so loud it hurts the ears
lindsay's phone ringing even louder
bren's cooking
chia sniffing for food on the kitchen floor
jess coming through the front door
drinking da beers with da boys (you know who you are)
surfing with sole
the girls @ kanuku st.
mgmc
wearing just boardshorts in the water
spam musubi @ 7eleven
pigeon
mokes
bamp boys
shaun periodically showing up in my life
the bagoyo's randomly coming over (or just aunty corrine)
calling them "slippers"
a mutual understanding of what "i gotta go shi-shi" means
taking the beach for granted
throwing da shaka when cutting lanes (still do that..chee)
hawaiian music @ work in the morning...now it's mexican mariachi music blaring in the morning.

he there....not sure if you remember me, but i used to work with josh and kellan at paradise bakery and came to all your shows. : ) was just following up on you guys and seeing where you've all ended up so far. your music is beautiful and i want to listen to it real loud on headphones while i bike home...
i was just thinking of you guys because i just bought my first home and was decorating it--and came across the cymbal you guys all signed for me. its hanging up proudly.
